SIMULATION ON THE DEFORMATION OF SURROUNDING ROCK IN FULLY MECHANIZED TOP COAL CAVING FACE IN THICK LOOSE SEAM

ABSTRACT
Based on the on-site production geological conditions, this paper comprehensively applies research methods such as numerical modelling and theoretical calcula­tion deeply study the rock pressure behavior and deformation mechanism of the surrounding rock of the fully mechanized top coal caving face in thick and un­consolidated coal seams. At the same time, the deformation law and energy evo­lution characteristics of the coal pillar in the section are discussed, providing an important reference for the stability control of the end surrounding rock and the optimization of the coal pillar size.
