The model mainly accounts for the evolution of mean velocity and turbulence-induced rotational diffusion coefficient along the contraction. It is shown that the new model, as the function of local turbulent dissipation rate, fiber length, and fluid viscosity, can reflect the subtle change of fiber orientation accurately.
