AB - This study optimizes refrigeration process parameters for a new refrigerant mixture. Grey relational analysis has been used to find the best process parameters that lead to a higher COP and lower compressor discharge temperature, lower compressor power, and lower mass-flow rate. A mixture of R152a-R290-R600- R600a is proposed as a refrigerant. The predicted results have been checked with confirmation tests. The results of the confirmation test are the same as the results that were predicted.
