Firstly, the surface morphol­ogy of each mineral composition in granite is obtained by a SEM. Secondly, the elastic modulus and hardness of three minerals in granite are calculated through the load-displacement curve obtained by the nanoindentation test. Based on the energy analysis method, the nanometer fracture toughness of three minerals in granite is obtained. Finally, the correlation between the elastic modulus, the hard­ness, and the fracture toughness are obtained by experimental data.
