AB - The paper starts with calculating the share of heat of condensate in thermal  power plants in the total heat of steam, expounds the purpose, significance,  and principle requirements of condensate recovery. Introduces the  composition and classification of condensate recovery system, proposes  technical and economic indicators for condensate recovery, and derives them  a simple algorithm for the benefit of condensate recovery is presented.  Finally, two calculation examples are used to illustrate the considerable  benefits of condensate recovery.
