AB - Clothing insulation is an important factor in the thermal comfort research, and thus an accurate clothing insulation model is much required. This study develops a new model, which takes into account the sex difference for the dress. Its accuracy was verified experimentally, and the established thermodynamic model is useful to predict occupants’ clothing behavior and to evaluate thermal comfort.
