AB - Fractal calculus is an excellent tool to explaining natural phenomena in porous media. In this paper, we first give a simple introduction on He’s fractal derivative, and then it is used to establish a model for thermal conduction of silkworm cocoon reveal its biomechanism. The theoretical results obtained in this paper are helpful for the biomimetic design.
