The results showed that the average bubble diameter in the pre-eruption region is increasing with the increase of the total number of fluidization, and it is not influenced by the composition of the binary mixture. Based on the experimental research, new empirical equation for estimation of the bubble diameter in the pre-eruption region is developed. Fluidization regime was characterized using fluidization number defined as ratio of superficial gas velocity and minimum fluidization velocity. The minimum fluidization velocity of the mixture is defined in two ways: as apparent minimum fluidization velocity umf-p and total minimum fluidization velocity Umf - T. Respectively, for description of the fluidization regime, apparent and total number of fluidization are defined as a ratio between the superficial gas velocity and minimum fluidization velocity: Uf/Umf-P and Uf/Umf-T.
