The influence of impeller's geometric parameters on the internal pressure, flow rate and cavitation of the pump is studied experimentally and numerically. A vertical multi-stage centrifugal pump is selected as an experimental prototype for numerical verification, and a working fluid pump, which is optimized by the orthogonal analysis, is numerically studied, the results show that the optimized one has better thermal performance than the prototype.
