To enhance nanofiber throughput during a multi-needle electrospinning process, it is an effective way to keep the electric field uniform by optimizing electrospinning spinnerets. For this purpose, a novel circular spinneret system is designed and optimized numerically by a 3-D finite element model, the optimal collector shape is also obtained.
