AB - This paper presents the energy policy of Greece and deals with four energy sectors i. e. petroleum, natural gas, electricity/lignite, and renewable energy sources. Each of these sectors is described and its present state is presented. The Greek national strategy in each energy sector is examined while its international policy is discussed. The objectives of the new energy strategy that Greece is about to introduce are also presented. .
