Such factors have great influences on the gas drainage engineering. In this paper, the discontinuous deformation analysis is used to model the stress relief effect of drilling and slot. The effects of slot width, height, and ground pressure was analyzed. The rheology property of the coal mass under different temperature and gas pressure are also studied. the results of this paper can be used as a reference for gas drainage engineering in coal mine.
