By grouping personal light zone and tracking user’s location, we can provide an energy efficient light control in the office. Simulation and pilot testing results show that more than 60% energy savings could be achieved while providing recommended visual comfort level for each user. Since the proposed methods provide unprecedented energy savings, it can be said that this is a remarkable energy saving technology in the field of light control.
