ABSTRACT
This special issue on Renewable and Sustainable Energy in the journal Thermal Science is dedicated to the recent research and developments in the field of energy engineering. This special issue contains the selected research papers presented in the International Conference on Renewable and Sustainable Energy, organized by Department of Mechanical Engineering, Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore, India, during April 12-13, 2017.
Selected papers are focused to research and developments on renewable energy applications such as, solar energy, wind energy, bio energy, and other energy efficient policies. Nineteen papers have been selected for this special issue. These selected research papers are the outcomes of the research works carried out by the research scholars in the field of energy engineering and thermal sciences engineering. All the papers have been reviewed by subject experts in the field and also revised according to the standards of the journal Thermal Science.
We would like to thank Professor Simeon Oka, Editor-in-Chief, Thermal Science, and Professor Milan Radovanović, President of the Society of Thermal Engineers of Serbia, towards their kind continuous support and co-operation for preparation of this special issue and make it grand success. Moreover, we would like to thank all the reviewers for their support in making their expert reviews available in time while compiling this special issue.
